Asad Sultan
Co-Founder & CEO
Asad has almost 30 years experience as an equities and capital markets expert with C-level executive positions at Macquarie Bank, ITG Securities, and Cantor Fitzgerald. Asad was a principal partner in entrepreneurial ventures in Malaysia (solar and renewable energy) and Hollywood (media and entertainment), and has extensive networks spanning HK/China, Malaysia/SE Asia, India/S. Asia, Germany/Europe, and California/N. America.
Asad is the CEO of Deutsche Malayan Ventures which provides bespoke cross-border advisory services for investment and execution of high-value projects in South and South East Asia, Co-General Partner of Lion Ventures Fund, and a Director of Hatcher Malaysia Sdn Bhd
Suraj Arora
Co-Founder & Managing Director
Suraj Arora is an accomplished banker with 27 years of corporate experience , and with functional expertise across Mergers & Acquisitions, Fund Raising, Mentoring New Ventures, Start-up investments, Corporate & Investment Banking, Remittance and Digital Banking. Suraj was the Country Head for ICICI Bank in Malaysia, serving the Bank for 17 years. Suraj has an MBA degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh and is a Mechanical Engineer from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi, India.
